Tottenham Hotspur fullback Pedro Foro has revealed that he recently lost a friend.
“He told me that a childhood friend of his recently passed away,” transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote on one of his social media accounts, “live here we go.
According to Romano, the man shared a sad story. “We lived nearby,” he said. One day he knocked on my door. He introduced himself and we went to school together. From then on, we were inseparable,” he said, recalling his time with his friend.
Sadly, Foro no longer sees his friend. “Not long ago, I heard that he fell ill. He had a malignant tumor in his kidneys and it had spread to his brain. Unfortunately, everything happened quickly. I didn’t have time to say goodbye to him,” he confesses.
“But then I realized that his family back in Morocco couldn’t afford the repatriation costs. I provided them with whatever they needed. Now I know he is in eternal rest with his family,” he added.
Foro joined Tottenham on loan from Sporting Lisbon in January. He played primarily as a right wing-back for Spurs. He also occasionally played on the flank as a wing forward. Despite his offensive prowess, Foro struggled in defense. Last season, Foro scored three goals and three assists in 17 official games for Tottenham. At the end of the season, he completed a €40 million transfer to Tottenham. 보스토토 도메인
This season, Foro has become a key fullback in Enze Postecoglou’s system. His excellent tactical understanding has allowed him to flourish in the inverted fullback role in Postecoglou’s system. In the 2023/24 season, Foro has four assists in 12 games.
